As someone who loves music, the Grammys aren't exactly must-see TV; the ridiculous spectacle being a glittering tribute to some of the most horrendous music and heinous egos to have blighted the globe in the past year.The 2012 Grammys totally snuck up on me, too; it felt like one day I was typing a yawning summary of the predictable nominees for Best Alternative Music Album, and then all of a sudden Justin Vernon was holding two golden gramophones.
Mr. Bon Iver won twice over: for, um, Best Alternative Music Album, and also Best Newcomer, which is pretty funny. Until next year's next thrilling installment...
